Personal Statement

As a naturopathic doctor who practices family medicine, integrated medicine, naturopathic physiatry and pain management I have researched and established a wide variety of clinical tools. In my naturopathic medical training we were challenged to make our clinical strategies patient-centered rather than disease- centered. By doing this and an integrated practitioner you invite an individualized patient dynamic that is flexible and open to change. I have strived for the last decade to study and explore clinical methods that are non-suppressive, relatively safe, and sustainable for my patient community.

I have successfully used CBD full spectrum extracts and products for several years. Cannabinoids and associated terpenoids are very safe and effective for a vast majority of ailments when used properly. These active compounds have therapeutic action that positively affect mood conditions, anxiety, sleep disorders, appetite loss, inflammatory and immune system dysfunction, pain syndrome, headaches, side effects of medications and cancer treatments. There are precautions associated with the form and methods used by a manufacturer to. produce extracts. Toxicity can occur if the source a patient is using is not high quality and third-party tested.

I learned of LuZa CBD and their unique company several years ago in our practice setting. The owners, T.J. and Crystal are remarkable educators,
researchers, entrepreneurs and all-around wonderful people. It is a great pleasure to support them as their motivation and drive is community based. They developed a foundation to assure that underprivileged families and children in need can try their products. LuZa CBD has also supported our Wisconsin Naturopathic Doctors Association for many years. LuZa CBD’s mission is not to sell products but enhance and generate a more inclusive health care system.
